About Me

sundown on the water

Hi! My name is Kay Lee. I live in St. Joseph, Missouri and have 3 children, all of whom are now grown.

It is for them and the many other people whom I meet each day who suffer with metabolic (bodily) ills and diseases that I write the pages of this website to help others learn to maintain their health through balancing the use of the "fruits of the earth".

This website is dedicated to my father, (now deceased) who took the time to help me understand that God put all of the herbs, fruits and vegetables on the earth at our fingertips to keep us healthy, mentally well-balanced and physically strong.

I also dedicate it to my children, for whom I feel it is my duty to once again, pass down to them knowledge of why antioxidants are so important in our hectic, stressful, everyday lives.

Like most everyone, we all pretty much know what we "should" be doing to stay healthy, but sometimes we simply don't have enough time in our day to make it happen.

Then, when we become ill, we look for something to quickly make us well and instantly reverse all our "bad" habits.

Antioxidants (and drinking more water) are an excellent place to begin to attempt to re-balance our body via natural means, as our first line of defense, before turning to prescription drugs and medications.

Healthy food choices and antioxidants and supplements go a long, long way toward improving our immune system and keeping us healthy.

In fact, most people begin using antioxidants due to an illness or disease, and after their return to health, they include them in their everyday health regimen.

Take an Extra Minute of "Me" Time: Most of us are usually pressed for time, so, it is really the "small" stuff that makes big differences in our overall health.

...And, in order not to feel guilty about the time "wasted" when I "take the stairs", I tell myself that I'm just taking a couple extra minutes of "me-time", which always seems to come last every day.

In our busy, stressful day-to-day lives, we need more nutrients to help our body overcome stress, our poor food choices and the escalating amount of quick, processed foods which are usually full of too much sodium, fat, preservatives and sugar.

So, unless you've been living under a rock, somewhere, and your diet consists solely of fast food, diet pop, and chips, we all know we need to take time to eat good nutritional meals, but sometimes this just isn't possible everyday.

I would like to see more people go from being sick and tired to healthy, balanced and energized so they can have the quality of life they want and deserve and the energy to enjoy their family and their lives.

Healthier people have less stress, fewer ills and pains and are much more pleasant to be around.

Healthier people raise healthier children. So, as a society, the healthier we help others become, (even if it is simply one less sneeze in a crowded room), the more pleasant our own lives become!

Pay It Forward: Once healthy, again, I hope you will "pay-it-forward" and share your own knowledge with your children, friends and family to help them, too, enjoy a healthier, fuller and more peaceful quality of life.

If you find any of the knowledge on this website to be helpful to other people in your life, please feel free to share the URL of this website with them.

If you, personally, have a website, you may also wish to link to this site to share antioxidant information with your site's visitors.

Although, I enjoy sharing what I have learned, I'd like to hear from you, too. Some of the pages on this website have a form on them so that visitors can ask questions and other visitors can attempt to answer them from their own personal experiences using antioxidants.

Sharing information helps everyone learn.

It is my sincere hope that you find the pages of this website to be helpful to you in overcoming the illnesses and diseases that plague so many people throughout their lifetime.

To your Health!

Kay Lee
